Above The Fold: Supply Chain Logistics News (April 25, 2025)
The supply chain and logistics news that caught my attention this week.
It’s Spring Break for my youngest daughter, who is a junior in high school. We have spent the week on the road, visiting a few colleges, going on tours, while I do tuition math silently in my head.
Along the way, we are visiting her older brothers in Delaware and Maryland, where we are this morning before we start our journey back home.
Yesterday, we also visited the pandas at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. There I stood in the middle of a big group watching one of the pandas eating bamboo and an apple. Or from the panda’s perspective, “I had my lunch while I watched those loud two-legged animals trapped behind a fence.”
I wonder if a little Panda diplomacy could help resolve this tariff war? What animal would we send to China to thaw relations?
